
Christian County junior Aaliyah Hampton has been named to the Kentucky Junior All-Star basketball squad.
Hampton averaged 13.9 points and five rebounds while shooting 51-percent from the field for the Lady Colonels, who finished with a 23-8 record and an Eighth District title.
The all-star team will play the Indiana all-stars twice and the Kentucky senior all-stars once. The June 2 game will be in Georgetown, with a June 3 game against Indiana scheduled for Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis.
Also named to the Kentucky junior team was Owensboro’s Mackenzie Kaelin.
