Christian Fellowship scored 10 runs in consecutive innings to turn an 8-3 deficit into a 23-8 win over University Heights Academy Tuesday in Benton.

UHA scored in the second inning in singles by Brianna Daniel and Bailey Vier.

After Christian Fellowship scored three times in the second inning, UHA countered with seven runs. Rachael Snyder tripled and scored on a Mallory Ladd single. Lydia Humphries added an RBI single, and Raleigh Fitzpatrick followed with a single to make the score 7-3 Lady Blazers. Ladd rounded out the scoring with another RBI single.

Wildness plagued UHA in the next two innings that spelled their doom. Five hits, five walks, and five hit batters in the third inning helped CFS plate 10 runs.

Seven walks and an error helped contribute to Christian Fellowship’s second straight 10-run inning in the fourth.
Snyder, Ladd, Daniel, and Vier each had two hits as the Lady Blazers rapped out 12 hits in the game.

UHA (1-4) travels to Livingston Central Friday.
