
The Todd County Central baseball team had no answer for Logan County on Tuesday night, falling 23-0 in Elkton. The loss drops the Rebels to 1-7, while Logan County has won 4 of 5 to stand at 9-4 on the year.
Senior McKinley Griggs took the loss for Todd County, working 2.0 innings and surrendering 13 runs, 12 earned, on nine hits with six walks and a couple of strikeouts. For the Cougars, senior Ethan Smock got the win, pitching 2.0 innings of no-hit ball with two strikeouts. Seniors Kaleb Justice and Bradley Taylor led the way at the plate, with two hits and 4 RBI and four hits and 2 RBI, respectively.
The Rebels return to the field on Thursday when the 6-5 Edmonson County Wildcats come to town.
