The Christian County Lady Colonels picked up another district win Monday afternoon. The Lady Colonels plated 11 runs in the first inning and cruised past the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons 15-0 in a three inning game.
Christian County took advantage of Fort Campbell pitching struggles and some strong hitting performances to get the victory. The Lady Colonels were able to get some playing time and some position experience to several different players over the course of the game.
Lexie O’Daniel had a double and a home run with 3 RBIs. Emmy Blane connected for a double and two singles and drove in three runs. Hope Jones went 2-2 with an RBI. And, Regan Hancock had a doulbe and a single and drove in a pair of runs.
Hannah Sumner was solid in the circle, going all three innings, giving up just one hit, while striking out seven and walking only one.
With the win, Christian County improve to 8-2, while Fort Campbell fell to 1-9.
