Heritage Christian Academy used a six-run fifth inning to hammer home a 12-2 softball win over visiting Christian Community Academy of White House, TN Friday.
Katie Ruth had three hits and scored twice for the Lady Warriors, while Rachel West also had three hits.
Nicole Holland had three hits, including a triple, and picked up the pitching win. She allowed five hits and struck out five.
Katie Lowry also had two hits to key the 14-hit attack.
On Thursday, HCA lost at Christian Fellowship 20-7. CFS scored 11 runs in the first inning on just three hits and were helped by three errors.
Holland had two singles and a double for HCA, who also got three hits from Lowry and two hits from Madison Powell.
HCA (3-1) saw their Saturday game canceled and will return to action Thursday at Pleasant View, TN.
