Madison Chaney moved up three spots to finish in the top 10 of the Lonnie Barton Invitational in St. Augustine, Florida Tuesday.
Chaney followed up her first-round score of 79 with a 6-over 78 to finish nine shots behind the winner, Gabriela Santini of Fairleigh Dickinson.
The former Trigg County golfer helped Evansville finish in fifth place in the 12-team field.
The junior had an average score of 84.1 in the fall season with one top 25 finish, but has started the spring season with a pair of top 10 finishes and a scoring average of 78.7.
