
The Todd County Rebels, advancing to the Boys 4th Region tournament for the first time since 2003, will face a tough first round battle. The Rebels, who won the 13th District championship over Frankin-Simpson will take on the Monroe County Falcons in the 2nd game Wednesday night.
The two teams did not play during the 2017-2018 season.
Monroe County enters the tournament at 19-10. The Falcons lost 60-54 to Glasgow in the 15th District championship game. Monroe County went 5-5 over the last 10 games of the regular season.
The Rebels come into the regional at 18-12, having won the 13th District championship over Franklin-Simpson 63-51. The Rebels have been playing well down the stretch, winning six of their last eight games, with the only losses being by two points to Rossview and by one point to Warren East.
The Boys 4th Region tournament is being played at Diddle Arena.
