Christian County sophomore Jakerion Merritt brought home fourth place at the KHSAA State Wrestling Championships in Lexington – the highest finish for a Colonel wrestler in the 132-pound class since 1985. He says he acquired a wealth of knowledge that will help him next year but most of all, had fun.
