Hopkinsville High All-American Ethan Noel has found a collegiate soccer home, committing to Centre College in Danville. The commitment was announced by the school Friday.
Noel was named to the 2017 NSCAA High School All-American, the first time a player from the Second Region has received either national award.
Noel finished his senior season with 25 goals and 47 assists, giving him both the state single season and career assist record in Kentucky. He was named First Team All-Region and All-Region Tournament team in addition to being named the region player of the year and First Team All-State. He also received the KHSAA Silver Boot Award and the KHSAA Offensive Player of the Year.
Noel finished his career with 66 goals and 120 assists and was part of four Hopkinsville teams that won 83 games and three region titles.
Centre is an NCAA Division III school that finished 12-5-2 last year.
