Heritage Christian Academy senior Hope Flournoy has been selected to play in the Inter-Tribal Athletics All-Star Basketball Game next month in Washington.
Flournoy, whose father is of the Choctaw Nation heritage, is among the KCAA leaders in rebounds and blocked shots this year. She has helped Heritage Christian Academy post an 18-6 record and unbeaten mark in region play.
Flournoy became the first girls’ basketball player at Heritage Christian to receive a scholarship to play college basketball. She signed with Welch College in Nashville in December.
The all-star game will be played March 17 at South Puget Sound Community College.
