The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons hosted Christian County on Monday night, with the Lady Colonels winning 62-4. The Lady Colonels have won nine straight to get to 19-4 on the year, while the Lady Falcons fall to 0-19.
Christian County jumped out to a 25-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, and led 40-0 at the half. The Lady Colonels outscored Fort Campbell 8-2 in the third quarter, and 14-2 in the fourth to win 62-4.
Junior guard Bianna Snorton scored 11, all in the first half, to lead the Lady Colonels. Freshman forwards Trinity McGee and Serenity Shemwell both had 10, followed by freshman Amari Brown with 8, all in the second half. Senior center Trinitee Jackson scored 6, all in the first quarter, and sophomore guard Lamontavia Forte also had 6. Sophomore forward Eniya McGee finished with 5, LyDashe Bell had 4, and junior guard Kinara Phillips added 2. Senior guard Aaliyah Hampton sat out for Christian County. 8th Grader Jordan Wilson had all 4 of the Lady Falcons points, with a basket in each of the third and fourth quarters.
The Lady Colonels hit the road again on Tuesday, facing the Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces (17-6). The Lady Falcons return to the court on Thursday, when they travel to Elkton to play Todd County Central (9-12).
