Trigg County senior Tyson Bush has committed to play his college football at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. Bush made the announcement Friday on his Twitter account.
Bush started for the Wildcats as a freshman and made 24 tackles as a linebacker. He was Trigg County’s second-leading tackler as a sophomore. He played nearly every snap of his junior and senior seasons, and led the Wildcats in tackles. He also was Trigg’s second-leading rusher as a junior and scored nine touchdowns in his career.
Bush was also an All-Western Kentucky Conference selection and was a team captain.
Bethel is an NAIA Division I school that competes in the Mid-South Conference. The Wildcats were 3-7 last year after a 7-4 season in 2016.
