Greenwood put together four consistent quarters and handed Todd County Central a 68-46 loss Monday in Bowling Green.
Greenwood jumped out to a 17-8 lead and after Todd County got to within five points, the Lady Gators ended the first half on an 8-0 run for a 31-18 lead at the break.
After getting the deficit into single digits in the third quarter, the Lady Rebels were undone by a 10-0 Greenwood run that saw them take control of the contest.
Freshman Jacqueline Jackson scored 26 points for Greenwood, including a 14-of-15 performance at the free throw line. Teammate Riley Hartis also scored 26 points for the Lady Gators (9-11).
Alexis O’Daniel led the Lady Rebels with 13 points, while Amy Brumfield added 12 points. Makayla Artis scored six for Todd County, who has lost two straight after winning five of six.
Todd County (8-12) travels to Crittenden County Friday.
