No one can accuse Rachel West of being lazy. The Heritage Christian Academy senior plays in just about every sport the small Christian school offers. After playing volleyball for the Lady Warriors in the fall, she leads the basketball team in scoring at 17 points a game, helping them attain a No. 1 ranking in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association Poll.
In the spring, you will likely see her on the diamond as HCA has high expectations for the upcoming softball season. And she does all this while taking college classes in addition to her regular haul of high school offerings.
West is looking forward to heading off to college in the fall and has a big decision ahead of her – to play or not to play collegiate sports?
