Maybe it’s the baby blue pants. For the second straight week, the Tennessee Titans wore the pants reminiscent to their time in Houston in an elimination game. And for the second straight week, the Titans and the blue pants delivered. Tennessee overcame a 18-point deficit to beat Kansas City 22-21 in the AFC Wild Card Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Marcus Mariota hit Eric Decker with a 22-yard touchdown pass with 6:06 left to give the Titans a one-point lead.

After the defense came up with a crucial stop, the Titans were able to run out the clock on the legs of Derrick Henry. The former Alabama Heisman Trophy winner ran for 156 yards on 23 carries and scored a fourth quarter touchdown.

Mariota completed 19-of-31 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns, including one to himself on a deflected throw.

The playoff win was the first for the Titans since 2003. They now await to see where they will play next week – either at Pittsburgh or New England.
