Lyons Come Up Just Short at Livingston Central (w/PHOTOS)

A slow start in the second half was the undoing for the Lyon County Lyons Tuesday night at they fell to Livingston Central 65-60. The Lyons were down to the Cardinals by only one at the break, but could only manage 8 points in the third quarter, giving Livingston Central just enough room to get the win.

The game was back and forth through the first half. Lyon County led at the end of the 1st quarter 17-15. Livingston Central battled back and took a 32-31 lead at the break.

With Lyon County struggling to put points on the board in the 3rd quarter, the Cardinals extended their one point lead to five at 44-39. Each team really got their offfense on track in the 4th quarter, with both Lyon and Livingston putting 21 points on the board, but the Cardinals were able to hold on for the win.

Lyon County was led once again by Max Wadlington with 21 points. Gabe DeFew added 16, while Gabe Board had 11.

Livingston Central was led by Cameron Dean with 20, and Seth Hosick with 15.

The Lyons fall to 0-3 on the season, and will continue to look for their first win of the season Friday night when they host Crittenden County.
