Basketball may not be UHA junior guard Drew McGowan’s best sport, but he’s shown he’s more than capable of carrying the Blazers if needed. With junior star KyKy Tandy hampered with foul trouble, McGowan stepped up and poured in 21 first half points to give the Blazers a commanding 30 point halftime lead over the visiting Fort Campbell Falcons.
