Carson Holmes knew college golf was a possibility, but that picture came into focus after he won the Region Two golf championship as a junior. The Christian County senior made that possibility a reality Friday when he signed his letter to play golf at Murray State University. Holmes will join his high school teammate John Buchanan, who also inked with the Racers Friday.
Holmes was the Region 2 individual champion as a junior and just missed qualifying for this year’s state tourney by one shot.
Both Holmes and Buchanan were named to the Region 2 Golf Team as seniors. They will join former Hopkinsville High golfer Austin Knight on the Racer golf roster.
