Cross country runners begin their training in 100-degree weather in order to run in a regional meet that is usually held in sub-50 degree weather. Saturday’s Region One Cross Country Meet at Marshall County was held in 37 degree weather, and that was just fine with Livi Ricks, who became the first Trigg County runner in over two decades to win three straight region titles.
