As she tries to finish in the top 10 for the season, and earn her way onto the LPGA Tour this weekend, it was a good day Friday for Princeton’s Emma Talley. The former Caldwell County Tiger shot a 4 under par 68 in her first round of the Symetra Tour Championship in Daytona Beach. Talley’s score placed her alone in second place when play was suspended for the day Friday. There were several golfers out on the course when they ended play for the day.
Talley entered the tournament 10th on the money list for the tour.
