The Lyon County girls’ soccer team got a big win Thursday night over the visiting Union County Bravettes. The 2-1 win is the second straight for the Lady Lyons, leaving them at 6-11-2 on the year. Union County has a 5 game unbeaten streak snapped and slips to 10-5-1.
The Lady Lyons got goals from junior forward Mia Myers and freshman forward Sydney Hoffman.
The win wraps up the regular season for Lyon County, and they return to action on Monday when they meet Crittenden County (4-10-1) in the first round of the 5th District Tournament. The game in Marion will mark the fourth meeting between the teams, with Lyon winning 2 of the previous 3.
