The University Heights Academy Blazers picked up their second consecutive shutout on the pitch Tuesday night, blanking Hopkins Central. The game was a battle throughout the first half, with UHA taking a 1-0 lead into the break on a header by Simon East.
The Blazers then erupted in the second half to quickly take control of the match and put the Storm away. UHA scored five times in the first 22 minutes of the second half to blow the match wide open. The Blazers had goals from Will Bryan, Riley Simmons, Simon East, Mack Major, and Jacorie Summers.
The Blazers upped their record to 10-6-2 on the season, and get ready to wrap up the regular season at home Thursday against Union County.
