The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors got out to a fast start against the Academy for Individual Excellence Tuesday afternoon and then cruised to a 10-0 win over the Cougars. Lucas Hite got the Warriors on the board about one minute into the contest, and the score fest was then on.
HCA had two first half goals from Clay Bonner, and goals from Trenton Hayes, Gabriel Venable, and Kris Ruth enroute to a 6-0 lead at the half.
The Warriors kept rolling with second half goals from Kayley Wadlington, Isaac West and Trenton Hayes. Starting goalie Kam Cunningham even got into the act, drilling a penalty kick to end the game with about six minutes to go due to the ten goal lead mercy rule.
