The Christian County boys’ soccer team, coming off two straight 10-0 defeats, got a healing 7-0 win over the Todd County Central Rebels (1-9) in Elkton Thursday night. The Colonels move to 4-8-3 on the season.
Seniors Logan Scott and Luis Macario paced the Colonels with 2 goals each, with junior midfielder Luke Ferrell and sophomore midfielder Benito Rubio adding one each. The Rebels also put one in their own net for the final 7-0 margin.
The Colonels have a big weekend on tap, hosting the Colonel Showcase where they will match-up with Logan County (4-6) and Franklin-Simpson (5-4). Todd County Central travels to Russellville (0-11) on Tuesday, after beating the Panthers 7-3 in Elkton earlier in the season for their only win so far.
