The Caldwell County boys’ soccer team traveled to Madisonville on Thursday night to face 7th District foe Madisonville-North Hopkins (4-5-1). The Maroons came away with a 4-1 win, snapping a 6 game winless skid.
The Maroons led 4-0 before senior forward Mitchell Scott got a consolation goal for the Tigers. Caldwell falls to 1-1 in 7th District play, after beating the Hopkins County Central Storm (4-5-1) in a shootout the last time out.
The Tigers are set to play in the Colonel Showcase at the Stadium of Champions this weekend, facing off with the Hopkinsville Tigers (8-3-1).
