The 2017-18 golf schedule for the Murray State men’s team has come together and promises to be a challenging test for Coach Eddie Hunt’s squad. The fall portion of the schedule begins at the home of MSU golf, Miller Memorial Golf Course, when the Racers look to win their home event for the first time since 2015. 36 holes of play are scheduled Monday.
The remaining fall tournaments for MSU includes the EKU Classic (Sept. 16-17), Derek Donlenc Invitational hosted by SIUE (Sept. 25-26), Skyhawk Classic (Oct. 2-3), APSU Intercollegiate (Oct. 16-17) and Samford Intercollegiate (Oct. 23-24). After a trip to Arizona for the Snowman Getaway (Feb. 25-26), the Racers get to play three consecutive events in Florida hosted by South Florida University (March 12-13), George Mason (March 17-18) and Florida Atlantic (March 23-25).
MSU returns to the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate (April 9-10) at the Hermitage in Nashville, which will be their final event before the Ohio Valley Conference Championship (April 23-25) at the Shoals in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. MSU will be seeking their first league title since 2010.
