
The Trigg County Boys’ soccer team got its first win of the 2017 season Tuesday night against Russellville. The Wildcats cruised to a 10-0 win in a game that was stopped at halftime. Freshman midfielder Will Jolly led the way with 3 goals and an assist. Senior defender Carter Boyd added 2 goals and an assist, senior midfielder Javier Llarena also had 2 goals, and sophomore midfielder Cristian Llarena posted 2 goals as well.
Sophomore forward Elijah Gaines had a goal and an assist, and senior defender Jacob Kesty registered an assist. Sophomore goalkeeper Matthew Smith got the shutout without making a save.
The Wildcats host Union County on Thursday at the Recreation Complex.
