Emma Talley played solid golf all weekend, and it helped her to an eighth place finish at the Symetra Tour Four Winds Invitational Sunday in South Bend, Indiana. Talley shot even par 70s in the first two rounds, and finished with a 2-under 70 on Sunday to finish nine shots behind the winner Kendall Dye. Her final round consisted of five birdies and three bogeys with only 28 putts.
Talley earned $3,879 for her weekend of work and moved up one spot to 20th on the Volvik Race for the Cup standings. She has four top ten finishes on the season and has earned $16,405. The top ten finishers in the standings earn their 2018 LPGA Tour cards.
Talley will play again June 16 at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic in Illinois.
