The Hoptown Hoppers had two former Tigers shine last night in the club’s debut. Luke Brown was the starting pitcher while Tyler Graham came off the bench. Graham is listed as a second baseman for the club but has pitching experience.
Though Graham didn’t start the game, he still recorded a single in his first at-bat and later scored one of the team’s 14 runs.
Brown, current Murray State Racer, didn’t graduate from Hoptown but pitched for the school in 2015. Brown’s pitching line for last night was five innings with four strikeouts and three earned runs.
