Lyon County 8th grader Cathryn Brown shot an 88 through a steady rain at the 1st Region golf tournament at The Country Club of Paducah on Monday. She ended up tied for ninth and missed qualifying for the state tournament by just two shots. Afterward, Brown spoke about her performance on an unfamiliar course in difficult conditions.
