
Several area golfers played well Saturday during the Muhlenberg County Invitational. The event was played at the Central City Country Club.
Daviess County won the team title with a score of 309. Hopkinsville High School placed 6th out of the 17 teams participating with a score of 359. Trigg County finished in 8th place with a team score of 360. University Heights and Christian County did not record a team score with only 3 players each participating.
Individually, Daniel Love, of Daviess County, won medalist honors shooting a low round of 70. James Folz, of Hopkinsville High School, continued his strong play this season finishing 2nd with a round of 72.Other notable scores from area players:
