The latest edition of the Maher Kentucky Girls Soccer rankings find the UHA Lady Blazers holding a spot among the 30 highest ranked teams in the state. The rankings, which were released late Saturday, place the Lady Blazers at #27 in the state.
UHA has not played since August 23, and the Lady Blazers currently stand at 2-1 on the season. Their last action came in the 2nd Region All A Classic championship game, where they beat Lyon County 11-1.
Henderson County comes in at #5 in this week’s rankings. The Lady Colonels are 7-0-1, with the tie coming against the Bowling Green Lady Purples.
The next highest ranked 2nd Region team is Madisonville, with the Lady Maroons ranked 59th in this weeks rankings.
