Trigg County fell to Calloway County in three sets Thursday, but Coach Doug Hargrove sees some progress being made with his squad. Trigg lost 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.
The Lady Wildcats, who have been suffering from second set letdowns this season, rallied before losing 25-23 in the second set to the Lady Lakers (3-3).
Lexie Wright had eight kills and three aces for Trigg County, while Iyanna Grubbs added four kills and two blocks. Chloe Williamson had nine aces.
Trigg County (2-6) will host Todd County Central Monday in Cadiz.
