Christian County continued their recent stretch of strong defensive play with a 1-0 win at Logan County Thursday.
Autumn Bell’s goal was the only one needed by the Lady Colonels, who got strong defensive play from Drew Hancock, Mackenzie Almy, and Eniya McGee. Payton Hale was once again solid in net for the Lady Colonels, who even their record at 2-2 on the season.
Christian County has allowed two goals in their last three games and recorded consecutive shutout wins for the first time since September of last year.
The Lady Colonels will host St. Mary Monday at the Stadium of Champions.
