
After waiting three days to begin its season, the Christian County girls’ soccer team didn’t get the start it wanted with a 10-0 loss at Madisonville-North Hopkins. The Lady Colonels lose their opening game for the fourth season in a row, while the Lady Maroons are now 2-0 and have outscored their opponents 21-1.
On Saturday, the Lady Colonels hit the road for a match at Owensboro (0-1). The Lady Devils won 2-0 when the teams met last season at the Stadium of Champions.
