Christian County’s Bridget Owens captured a top five finish at the Christian County Invitational Tuesday at Western Hills Golf Course. The Lady Colonel junior shot a personal best score of 89 to help Christian County finish third as a team. Jenna Humphries shot a 95 followed by Jennalyn Kelly (104) and Hannah Sumner (109).
Hopkinsville finished fifth as a team with Anna Fort leading the way with a 107 followed by Anna Blane (108), Audrey Rains (111), Ellie Coburn (117), and Ava Coburn (128).
University Heights did not field a complete team but was led by Rheagan Lindsey’s 95. Riley Johnson shot a 136, and Sloan Hampton added a 137.
Trigg County’s Alex Ethridge shot a 95, and Todd County Central’s Lily Sharp shot a 98.
Crittenden County junior Lauren Gilchrist won the invitational for the second straight year by shooting a 76.
Ohio County (391) won the team title followed by Madisonville (396), Christian County (397), Murray (434), and Hopkinsville (443).
