A pair of area high school baseball standouts played rolls Thursday afternoon in their summer team picking up its second win in a row this week. The Kentucky Prospects Donald 17U teams upended the Knights Prospects 17U Thursday by the score of 4-1. That win followed a 5-3 win Wednesday over the MT Diamondbacks.
In Thursday’s game, UHA’s Drew McGowan went 1-2 with a double and a run scored. Trigg County’s Riley Stallons was 1-2 with a double and an RBI.
Christian County’s Lane Diuguid went 0-2 on the afternoon.
In Wednesday’s win, which saw the Prospects score all five of their runs in the top of the 7th, Diuguid was 0-1 with a pair of walks and a run scored. McGowan went 0-4 in the contest. Stallons was 0-0 in the game with a run scored.
After Thursday’s win, the Prospects are 7-2 on the summer.
