Christian County football coach Steve Lovelace has announced a pair of changes to his coaching staff for the upcoming season. Damien Leavell will leave the high school staff to be the new middle school coach. Leavell replaces Marcus Gildersleeve.
John Adams III returns to Christian County to become the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Adams left Christian County in 2011 to be the head coach at Heath. He led the Pirates to six wins in two seasons and is the answer to a trivia question — ‘Who was the last Heath football coach before consolidation?’ Adams has spent the last five seasons coaching at McCracken County.
