Two Christian County Lady Colonels had a busy weekend on the summer softball trail. Reni Shemwell and Tenley Gilbert were in Mississippi as a part of the Louisville Lady Sluggers 14-U Zuege team.
The Lady Sluggers played a total of six games over two days of the event, winning three, losing two, and finishing one game in a tie.
For the Lady Sluggers, Reni Shemwell was 7-17 over the six games, scoring 4 runs, with 4 RBIs, one double and one triple.
Tenley Gilbert was 4-16 in the tournament, scoring two runs, with 5 RBI’s, and two doubles.
