The Fort Campbell softball team fell 19-3 and 26-7 in a doubleheader with Christian Fellowship on post on Friday night. The Lady Falcons now stand at 1-22, with the Lady Eagles improving to 13-7 on the year.
Paige Baxter took the loss on the mound for the Lady Falcons in the first game, working 2.2 innings while allowing 25 runs on sixteen hits with a strikeout and twelve walks. Zoe Loveall and Cadence Suding were both 2-3 at the plate, with Loveall knocking-in 3 and Suding 1. Lizette Ceja, Sara Silva, Emma Kaack, and Suraiya Thompson each had a hit.
In the second game, Ceja was the losing pitcher, going 6.0 innings while allowing 19 runs on twenty one hits with a strikeout and four walks. Kaack was 2-3 with an RBI, with Ceja, Loveall, Suding, and Kiana Almoduar each getting a hit.
Maddie Ortt earned both wins for the Lady Eagles, pitching four innings and yielding 7 runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in the first game, and six innings with 3 runs on six hits with six strikeouts in the second.
The Lady Falcons go on the road on Saturday to play the 4-11 Dawson Springs Lady Panthers.
