In Class 4A, Hopkinsville is in District One, along with Calloway County, Hopkins Central, Logan County, and Madisonville. The five team district means one team will not qualify for the playoffs.

The biggest change in the area will come in Class 2A District One. The district will now feature Fort Campbell, Caldwell County, Ballard Memorial, Murray, and Mayfield. The five team district means one team will not make the playoffs.

In Class 2A District Two, Todd County Central will be there along with Butler County, Hancock County, McLean County, and Owensboro Catholic,, with one team not making the playoffs.

In the other western Kentucky districts, in Class 6A District One, the alignment will have Apollo, Daviess County, Henderson County, Marshall County, McCracken County, with one team not qualifying for the playoffs.

In Class A District One, the alignment has Caverna, Crittenden County, Fulton County, Russellville, with all four teams making the playoffs. One school that was formerly in the district, Fulton City has elected not to compete for a district title for the four year period.
