Fort Campbell used a 12-run third inning to pick up a 19-2 road win at Army rival Fort Knox Saturday.
Dalton Markus and Nathaniel Lake each had a double and triple as a part of a two-hit afternoon. Markus drove in four runs, and Lake knocked in two.
The Falcons sent 17 batters to the plate in the third inning, with Markus getting both extra base hits and all four RBIs in the inning.
Fort Campbell rapped out 13 hits in the contest. Elijah Crockett, Ryan Sollom, and Ahmon Williams each had two hits, with Williams and Trey Burgoyne driving in three runs.
Ryan Sawyer picked up the pitching win, allowing just two hits while striking out eight batters.
Fort Knox (0-9) only had two hits in the game.
Fort Campbell (3-8) will host Christian County Tuesday in an Eighth District game on post.
