Head coach Amy Tudor and the WKU Softball program are excited to announce several opportunities for softball players ranging from first grade all the way through junior college athletes to come to The Hill for numerous Hilltopper camps and clinics this summer. There will be five camps this summer, including the Advanced Hitting Clinic, Lil’ Toppers All-Skills Camp, Tops Prospect Showcase I & II and the Pitching/Catching Showcase. Each outing is designed for all players wanting to further their knowledge in the game of softball. To register or find out more information, visit WKUSoftballCamps.com. Opening the summer camps and clinics slate, the Lil’ Toppers All-Skills Camp will take place from 9 a.m. – noon CT. Maximum enrollment is again set at 50 participants from grades 1-6.
On the afternoon of June 12 the Advanced Hitting Clinic will take place for campers entering seventh grade through junior college. The day begins at 1 p.m. CT and wraps up at 3:30 p.m. with a maximum number of participants set at 25.
The next day, June 13, the Tops Prospect Showcase will get started at 9 a.m. before breaking for lunch at noon and wrapping up at 3:30 p.m. Softball players ranging from seventh grade through junior college are encouraged to sign up with the outing limited to 60 individuals.
Later in the summer, the Hilltoppers will host Tops Showcase II on August 25 starting at 9 a.m. with a break for lunch at noon before wrapping up at 3:30 p.m. The session will be limited to 55 participants.
The following day (August 26), Coach Tudor’s staff will wrap up with the Pitching/Catching Showcase slated for 9 a.m. to noon. The outing will be capped at 25 pitchers and 15 catchers ranging from seventh grade through junior college.
