Kentucky held off Davidson 78-73 in their NCAA opener Thursday and will face 13-seed Buffalo Saturday after the Bulls embarrassed No. 4 Arizona 89-68.
Kentucky (25-10) and Buffalo (27-8) have met just one previous time. Buffalo, coached then by Bobby Hurley, led UK 38-33 before the Wildcats woke up in the second half for a 71-52 win in the 2014 Cawood Ledford Classic at Rupp Arena. Trey Liles and Tyler Ulis both scored 12 points to lead UK that night.
