
Chelsea Dortch poured in 20 points to lead Heritage Christian Academy to a 56-40 win at North Hardin Christian Thursday and keep HCA unbeaten in KCAA play.
Dortch also added five steals for the Lady Warriors, who led 20-4 after one quarter and 33-19 at halftime. HCA got balanced scoring on the night as Rachel West scored 10 points, and Hope Flournoy added eight points. Abbi Bullock scored five points, and Meredith Crunk scored four points. Every HCA player that dressed scored in the contest.
Sophomore Julia Allen scored 28 points for North Hardin Christian.
Heritage Christian, the No. 1 team in this week’s KCAA Power Poll, improved to 16-6 overall and 8-0 in KCAA play.
The Lady Warriors will host West Academy Saturday for their homecoming contest.
