The dream of making the All A state tournament came up just a little bit short Sunday afternoon for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels. After advancing all the way to the championship game, the Lady Rebels were upended by Monroe County by the score of 57-41.
Todd County had advanced to the finals by knocking off Cumberland County, and then defeating the regional semifinals host Clinton County 55-48.
With the loss to Monroe County, the Lady Rebels see their record fall to 6-10 on the season. They are scheduled to return to action Monday night against UHA.
