With the Toyota of Hopkinsville Classic behind them, the Hopkinsville Tigers get ready for a pair of holiday events over the next two weeks. The Tigers, along with UHA, will be in Paducah Thursday and Friday for the 73rd annual Paducah Tilghman Christmas Tournament. After Christmas, the Tigers will head down to Nashville to take part in the Next Level Hoops Fest.
At the Paducah Tilghman tournament, the Tigers will open play at 2:00pm taking on the Mayfield Cardinals. Mayfield enters a Tuesday night game against Murray with a record of 4-1. The Cardinals only loss came over the weekend to Christian County in the Toyota of Hopkinsville Classic.
Hoptown will return to action to complete play in their pool Thursday evening at 6:00, when they take on Louisville Valley. The Vikings will enter the tournament at 4-2, on a four game winning streak. Tournament play will conclude Friday beginning at 2:30pm with the consolation game between the third place team in each pool.
After Christmas, the Tigers will travel down to Music City to take part in the Next Level Hoop Fest. Hopkinsville will open play Wednesday, December 27, at 6:30pm, when they take on Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, out of Marietta, Georgia. The Tigers are guaranteed three games over the three day tournament, hosted by Christ Presbyterian Academy.
