The UHA boys’ soccer team was tied 1-1 with the Murray High Tigers (10-7) at halftime on Thursday, but gave up 3 second half goals to fall 4-1. The Blazers slip to 7-6-2 on the year and have lost 3 of 4.
Junior Ian Calvert scored for the Blazers in the first half and the game was still tied midway through the second half, but 3 goals in a 5 minute span broke the game open for the Tigers.
Next up for UHA is a visit from the Mayfield Cardinals (4-11-1) on Saturday. The Blazers will be looking for revenge, as the Cardinals beat them 3-1 in Mayfield a week ago.
