The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers picked up their 4th win in a row Thursday night as they upended University Heights 3-1 at Tiger Gym. In the opening set of the night, Hopkinsville got strong play from Chella Bell and Karalyn Beymer to lead the way to a 25-17 win.
UHA battled back behind strong play from Lily Hendricks and Naliscya Hall, and service errors from the Lady Tigers to win the second set 25-22.
Much as she did a week ago in a win over Christian County, sophomore Hope Pace spurred Hopkinsville to a 25-15 win in the third set. Hopkinsville then sealed the match by winning the 4th set 25-19.
Hopkinsville improved to 6-5 on the season, while UHA falls to 4-4. The two 8th District rivals will meet again October 5th at UHA.
Hopkinsville made it a clean sweep on the night winning the JV match 21-15 and 21-14, and the freshman match 21-12 and 21-17.
