The Caldwell County Lady Tigers got all they wanted from Hopkins Central Tuesday night before finally subduing the Lady Storm in four sets. Caldwell County came out fast and won the first set 25-12. Hopkins Central worked on changing the tempo up and the result was a load of unforced Lady Tiger errors in the second set, which the Lady Storm won 25-21.
Caldwell County then got things rolling in their direction again, winning the next two sets 25-15 and 25-15.
With the win, Caldwell County goes to 5-2 on the season, while Hopkins Central falls to 3-4. The two district rivals will meet again September 19 in Princeton.
